years. He was a leader in the troop from 1955 until his death on October 4, 2015.
During his time with the troop, Mr. Adams took the troop on monthly camping trips,
including several trips to the Philmont Scout Ranch.

Donald Harris |
Mr. Harris served as Troop 54 Committee Chair from January 1, 1978 until his death on April 20, 2015. He had
been a leader in the troop since 1977. Mr. Harris published the troop's monthly newstetter, The Torch, for decades. During
parts of his term as Committee Chair, he also served as our Friends of Scouting Chair for decades, as troop Treasurer and as
Advancement Chair (for some time, all at once).

To say that the dedication of Herbert Adams and Donald Harris to the Troop was critical to its longevity
would be an understatement. They ensured the continuation of the troop through many challenges over the years. |
