Joseph P. Clancy Jr. served as Troop 54 Scoutmaster from April 29, 1982 to August 31, 1991. Altogether, he was a member of Troop 54 for 30 years. As a Scout, he held the positions of Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. As a leader, he held the position of Assistant Scoutmaster before becoming Scoutmaster. He completed Wood Badge in 1979. He also served as Assistant District Commissioner for Holden for 3-1/2 years.

Oustanding Scouter Award Statuette (Nimat District, 1978)
Silver Beaver (Mohegan Council, 1985)

Mr. Clancy is a self-employed trucker. 1
