Merger

In August 2018, Mohegan Council merged with Nashua Valley Council to its north, forming the Heart of New England Council, which stretches across the center of Massachusetts, from New Hampshire to Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Coverage Area

At the time of the merger, the areas of the two councils were depicted as:¹

Camps

• Camp Split Rock - Asburnham, MA (about 50 minutes from Worcester).
• Camp Wanocksett - Dublin, NH (about 1.25 hours from Worcester).
• Treasure Valley Scout Reservation - Rutland, MA (25 minutes from Epworth United Methodist Church).
