Sustainability Hub
5/27/19 Update - The Sustainability Hib had to cancel our visit, so we will have a troop meeting at Epworth this night.
Troop 54 will make our second visit to the National Grid Sustainability Hub to learn about how our homes can be more efficient. The Sustainability Hub is basically a small science center. Our last visit there was in 2014. Scouts will learn about sustainability. Parents will learn about ways to improve the environmental impact of your home (while saving money).
We will meet at the Sustainability Hub, not at the church.
This event is open to registered Scouts BSA members and parents.
Scouts interested in starting the Sustainability, Electricity or Energy merit badges should complete blue cards and submit these to the Scoutmaster before this meeting. Sustainability is the most relevant badge for this visit. Merit badge requirements:
Please be sure to print out the parking pass and put it on your dashboard. There is a parking lot across the street from the Sustainability Hub. Please use the crosswalks when crossing Main Street.
There are no registration requirements for this event.
