Event Description

28 Apr 2025: This event had been a replacement for ConnJam 2025. As a result of insufficient Scout registrations, the Troop cancelled this event, so there will be no May camping trip.

This trip will take us to Camp Tri-Mount, our first time visiting this camp. We will participate in the Outdoor Safety Camporee. The event has stations for Scouts, for Cub Scouts and for both. Of the fun-sounding stations, the RC Car Race seemed to be the one that captured our Scouts' attention. The tentative list of stations:

Ax Accuracy (S)
Patient Recovery (S)
Golf Ball Relay (CS)
Sling Shot (CS)
RC Car Race (All)
Disc Golf Course (All)
Know your 10 Essentials & more (All)
Demos by Sherriff, NYS Troopers, DEC, Fire Depts (All)
Skit Preparation (All)
Camp Fire (All)

(S) Scouts only Activities
(CS) – Cub Scouts Activities

The event includes a pot luck dinner with the protein provided by organizers and the side dished by the attending units.

This trip is open to Scouts BSA members.
