Youth

Basically, Scouts BSA Boy Scouts is available to boys and girls from age 11 through age 17, called "older boys" and "older girls" in BSA literature. Scouts who have earned the Arrow of Light Award (in Cub Scouts) and are at least 10 years old and boys or girls who have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 can also join Scouts BSA.

New members can join at any time of the year.

Older boys - If you are a boy and live near our troop, join Troop 54.

Older girls - If you are a girl and live near our troop, join Troop 7054 some time after February 2019.

Younger boys and girls - We encourage younger boys and girls to consider joining Cub Scout Pack 54.

Youth in other areas - To find out about Cub Scout packs, Scouts BSA troops, Venture crews and Sea Scouts ships in any part of the United States, you can visit the BeAScout website. While there, you can get basic information about each troop, optionally send a message to troop representatives and/or electronically submit a membership application.

Parents

Scouting encourages family involvement. Your parents are welcome to become leaders in the Troop.
