Michael Saari had our Scouts out to his metalworking studio in Woodstock, CT for a second session of Metalworking Merit Badge. This time, the focus was on heat treating and tempering the work. The example the Scouts made was a punch, fabricated from a vehicle spring.
Participants in both visits will have completed the requirements for the badge. For this trip, we had seven youth participants, two leaders and two parents.
