All food collected will be donated to the Carty Cupboard Food Pantry, hosted by Wesley United Methodist Church on Main Street.
Troop 54 Scouts are asked to bring the food items they collect to the Troop meetings on February 27 and March 6. We will have a collection box for Scouts on the stage so we can keep track of our donations. This will be separate from the "Carty Cupboard" box the church uses under the coat rack.
We invite you to contact friends, relatives, and neighbors and invite them to contribute.
We are collecting non-perishable items. Epworth is targeting the following.
Canned fruit - in juice only, no heavy syrup
Pasta (no Ramen noodles)
Pasta sauce (no glass jars)
Cereal - emphasis on hot cereal (oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, etc) and healthy choices like Cheerios
Toothpaste
Shampoo
Soap
Diapers - sizes 3, 4, 5, or 6

These meetings will be held at our usual time, 7:00-8:30 PM, in the Fellowship Hall, below the main sanctuary.
