Event Description
A Scout is reverent.
Join Troop 54 for Scout Sunday as we participate in the Sunday service at Epworth United Methodist Church, our chartered organization.
The second Sunday in February is the standard day for Scout Sunday for United Methodist churches. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are invited to attend.
Scoust and their parents are asked to bring baked goods for the coffee hour following the service.
9:45 AM - Meet in Fellowship Hall.
10:00 AM - Service starts. We will enter the service with our Troop flag.
Social hour with refreshments follows.
Scouting Heritage Merit Badge
Scouts who wish to complete a requirement toward Scouting Heritage Merit Badge can bring a collection to display as follows:
6. Make a collection of some of your personal patches and other Scouting memorabilia. With their permission, you may include items borrowed from family members or friends who have been in Scouting in the past, or you may include photographs of these items. Show this collection to your counselor, and share what you have learned about items in the collection. (There is no requirement regarding how large or small this collection must be.)
If you plan to do this, be sure to obtain a blue card from the Scoutmsater first. A second requirement can be completed at the Cabin Camping Trip. You can take a look at the complete requirements.
