Troop 54 is attending our first Scout Orienteering event. This Scout-O is organized by the New England Orienteering Club and takes place at Hale Reservation in Westwood, MA.

Saturday's program will emphasize skill development, training, and practice. Scouts (and adults) will be able to learn orienteering skills such that they will be able to orienteer through the woods on their own. Ample orienteering courses will be available for scouts to practice their orienteering skills. Boy Scouts can complete First Class requirement #2 (orienteering) as well as many requirements for the "Orienteering" Merit Badge.

We will camp the night before and after at Hale Reservation in a camporee style setting.

Cost: $7 per Scout-O participant (Scouts and Leaders)

We had to submit paid registration well in advance, so registration for the Scout-O event is closed. Additonal participats are welcome for the campout. As of 4/5/10, one paid registration is available.
