Troop 54 continues our tradition of baking pies for charities in time for Thanksgiving. This will be our first year baking the pies at Wesley. This church has convection ovens, which will greatly speed the baking process.
Troop members are each asked to bring in some cans of fruit pie filling to meetings before this event (not on the night we are baking). We will seek donations from local stores, and the troop pays for pie tins, boxes and pie dough materials.
The Scouts will make the dough and assemble the pies.
Items to bring, if you can:
- Oven Mitts
- Can Openers
- Apron
- Rolling Pin
- Measuring cups and spoons
