New England Base Camp
Milton, Massachusetts
Event Description
For our November trip, we return to New England Base Camp, formerly known as Camp Sayre,
our fifth time visiting this camp. We will be tent camping at Adirondack #7. During the day on Saturday, we will
participate in GBH District Adventure Weekend.
The event is described as "choose their own adventure." Scouts can work on badges, skills and service requirements
or just have fun. District competitions and fellowship activities will create great memories. Earn Weather merit
badge including a hike to the Great Blue Hill Weather Observatory (additional fee applies). Special District
activities include the Friday night cracker barrel, Saturday relay race, Saturday District evening campfire, and
Sunday morning prayer service. Units will have an option to participate in a service project to benefit Base Camp.
This trip is open to Scouts BSA members and Webelos/AOL Scouts with their patrol.
