Event Description
We'll hike about 3.5 miles in the Cascades on the Silver Spring Trail, the Cascade Trail and the Meadow Ridge Trail in Boynton Park. This is a bit more hilly than the rail trail, but much easier than Mount Wachusett.
Yes, each Cub Scout, Webelos Scout, Scout or leader should wear his/her uniform.
This event is open to Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and Scouts. The whole family is welcome to join us for the hike.

Let the Scoutmaster know by June 21 if you plan to participate.
Packing
Help your Scout to pack the Six Essentials for the hike.
Travel There
Meet at the parking area (map link) at the entrance to Boynton Park to start the hike at 10:00 AM. If you are not using the GPS feature of your phone to find the parking area, note that you need to exit Pleasant Street onto Mower Street and then onto Boynton Parkway; the tricky thing is that Mower Street crosses Pleasant Street in three places in this area. This one is a bit north of the Worcester Airport sign.
