Treasure Valley
Event Description
The Pack is planning a camping trip to get out into the the woods in October. We will camp at the High Mesa site at Treasure Valley. Most ranks include some sort of adventure focused on camping, and this is a great chance to get those items done.
Family members are welcome.
Arrive any time as early as 3:00 PM on Saturday. Plan to leave by 9:00 AM on Sunday.
Note that per BSA rules, when staying in tents, no youth will share a tent with an adult other than his or her parent or guardian. Youth may share a tent with other youth.
Registration
- The registration fee is $5 per Cub Scout. (online payment)
- Each Cub Scout must be accompanised by a parent or guardian.
- Please let the Scoutmaster know if you plan to participate.
Packing
Camping List - Use our camping list as a guide to plan what to bring.
Provide your own food and cooking equipment. You can cook on a campfire or on camp stoves (we will have a couple there and you can bring your own). You will need to bring your own tent. Reasonably sized tents will fit on the tent platforms.
Bring stuff to make smores - melt the marshmallows over the camp fire.
Travel
Each family will drive directly to Treasure Valley. Stop at the the King Cottage very near the entrance to check in and get directions to the site.
