Blackstone River Greenway and Bikeway

The Blackstone River Greenway is planned to eventually be a 48 mile paved path for bicycles and pedestrians from Worcester, Massachusetts to Providence, Rhode Island, running the length of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. At present, three segments are complete.

Blackstone River Greenway Worcester/Millbury Segment

This segment is 3 miles. Trail heads:

• BRV Heritage Center (N42° 14.184' W71° 47.754') on McKeon Rd in Worcester. Bathrooms and water. Open Daily 9 AM - 3 PM, closed Tuesday.
• Millbury Street Parking (N42° 13.139' W71° 47.007')
• Main Street Parking (N42° 12.083' W71° 46.431')

Blackstone River Greenway Uxbridge/Woonsocket Segment

This segment is 4.8 miles. Trail heads:

• Adams St Parking (N42° 01.600' W71° 36.262') - on SNETT¹
• Central St Parking (N42° 01.433' W71° 34.948') - on SNETT
• Depot Parking (N42° 00.966' W71° 32.272') - on SNETT
• Cold Spring Park (N42° 00.519' W71° 31.556') - not on the SNETT

Blackstone River Bikeway Woonsocket/Central Falls Segment

This segment is 11 miles, with about 0.9 miles on city streets in Central Falls. Trail heads:

• River's Edge Recreation Complex (N42° 00.060' W71° 29.909') Pretty large parking lot.
• Manville Parking (N41° 58.100' W71° 28.017') Small parking lot.
• Albion Parking (N41° 57.191' W71° 27.181') Small parking lot.
• Ashton Village Parking Area (N41° 56.292' W71° 25.910') Just a few parking spaces.
• I-295 Visitor Center (N41° 56.375' W71° 26.677') Use "Blackstone River Valley Bikeway Parking" on Google Maps. Bathrooms and water (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), portable toilets other hours. Huge parking lot.
• Rt 116 Parking (N41° 56.267' W71° 26.147') Small parking lot.
• Front Street Parking (N41° 54.680' W71° 24.497') Two parking lots - the one a bit further from the trail is pretty large.
• John St Parking (N41° 54.391' W71° 24.402') Use "John Street Parking Area" on Google Maps. Small parking lot.
• Terminus on High St in Central Falls (N41° 53.622' W71° 22.982') - Next to parking lot of a prison, no public access parking specifically for the Greenway; can park on street nearby.
